Jonathan and Heather work in partnership with the Christian church in the city of Berdyansk. They focus on Discovery Bible studies in cafes and homes, church planting in villages, campus ministry and outreach to the deaf and hearing-impaired.

Jonathan serves as the team leader of the CMF church catalyst team in Ukraine and as the European Strategic Coordinator for CMF.

Heather leads an evangelistic outreach group for women in their apartment building and serves in children's ministry in the village of Dmitrovka. She also homeschools their daughter Sasha (2005). Maya (2002) attends Berry College in Rome, Georgia.

Jonathan and Heather have served in Ukraine since 1999.
